About This Course
Gain a thorough understanding of dental and oral anatomy essential for all dental professionals. This course covers the detailed structure of permanent and primary dentition, including crown and root morphology of each tooth type. You will study the supporting tissues including periodontium, alveolar bone, and cemento-enamel junction. The course explores pulpal anatomy, vascular and nervous supply to teeth, and anatomical variations to be aware of during clinical procedures. Learn the developmental sequence of teeth and eruption patterns, as well as common anatomical anomalies. Three-dimensional models and advanced imaging techniques help visualize complex anatomical relationships. Understanding anatomy is the foundation for all restorative, surgical, and periodontal procedures.
